Mick and Maureen retired in 2007 at which time Darren, and his wife Sharlene, purchased the business from them. Andrew and his wife Teagan Ollett purchased the business from Darren and Sharlene in August 2021 and are currently running 15 quality staff including one panel beating apprentice and one spray painting apprentice. Andrew Ollett is a qualified Spray painter with over 23 years’ experience in the industry. It is testimony to the quality of their work and customer relationships that word of mouth has been their biggest advertisement.
Shipley Smash Repairs repair vehicles for all insurance companies and no job is too big or small with one of the two spray booths being big enough to accommodate a 25 seater bus or truck of similar size.
